This privacy policy explains how the National Guard General Staff (GNG)/Directorate of Mobilisation collects and processes information about you, in the context of update of reservist details through the relevant digital service.

Why we use your personal data
The collection and processing of your personal data is carried out for the following purposes:
- Confirming your right of access to the service
- Processing purpose related to the service
- Keeping you informed about the progress of the process
- Archiving and tracking of data
- Updating the details kept by the National Guard General Staff (GNG)
Without access to the above data, your application cannot be processed.
Where your personal data is stored
- Electronically: In databases and servers based in Cyprus, accessed only by authorised personnel through password-protected computers and firewalls.
- In print: In official files and the reserve information system kept by the National Guard General Staff (GNG).
MoD and GNG personnel have full access and processing rights within the scope of their duties.
How long we keep your data
Data is kept for as long as the individual has an obligation of reserve service and to comply with legal obligations.
Data stored in the information system is kept in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Who your data is shared with
Your personal data is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law or necessary under Articles 6 and 9 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your rights
